Oral health is considered a mirror of the general physical health. Correct diagnosis and
appropriate treatment plan is the key to a good quality dental treatment.
The Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology functions with an aim to provide good quality patient care and student mentoring. Over the period of time the department has grown with better infrastructure and advanced diagnostic facility.

The department also specializes in dealing with various oral mucosal diseases including screening of oral cancer.
The Radiology section is equipped with intra-oral unit, extra-oral unit and the digital radiographic unit. With the evolution of dentistry digital radio-diagnosis had expanded the scope and hence better gears the dental radiologist.
